Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in food preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and ready for cooking. This position requires a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Also looking bartender part time and the ideal candidate would be someone who can do both although not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
Assist in the assembly of dishes, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure high-quality food handling.
Support the cooking team with various tasks as needed, including inventory management.
Collaborate with cooks to understand daily menu changes and special requests.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other tools.
Bartending providing exceptional customer service.
Proficient at POS and money handling for bartender positition.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred.
Knowledge of food service operations, including dietary department practices.
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
Understanding of food handling regulations and safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Previous bartending experience a plus but will train right candidate.
