Full Job Description

About us

Channeled Resources Group is a privately-owned company that is a growing leader in the labeling/coating industry.

Channeled Resources Group is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy, and highly organized individual to join our team as a General Accountant. This role is responsible for supporting day to day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing backup support across key accounting functions.

This is a full-time in office until satisfactory training and performance are achieved and approved within (6) months to (1) year; then (3) days remote and (2) days in office afterwards.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter, track, and maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely processing
Process payroll (ADP), including verification of hours, deductions, and compliance with policies and laws
Assist with and provide backup support for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
Maintain and monitor lease records, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
Prepare and post journal entries ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards
Organize and manage financial and operational documents for easy access and compliance
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and systems

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with payroll processing (excluding benefits)
Knowledge in purchase order management
Familiarity with lease accounting and financial reporting
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and systems
