Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will manage all aspects of the company's accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. Your expertise will support our organization’s financial health by overseeing bookkeeping processes, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial statements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving organization that values precision, integrity, and proactive financial management.

Duties

Maintain and manage the full cycle of bookkeeping activities using various accounting software such as Sage 100.
Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.
Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations to verify account accuracy.
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments.
Prepare detailed financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and budget reports aligned with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Manage payroll processing.
Strong understanding of GAAP standards and double-entry bookkeeping principles..
Expertise in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation processes.
Strong organizational skills with attention to details. Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and support audit activities confidently.
