Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive the restaurant’s success through effective management of staff, food quality, and financial performance. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety and operational excellence. Duties

Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and supervising team members to ensure smooth daily functions.
Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to uphold quality standards and comply with health regulations.
Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels; manage food production and kitchen workflows efficiently.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy.
Maintain exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Conduct staff training sessions on food safety management, food presentation, and service techniques; foster a team-oriented environment through effective leadership.
Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for growth, manage budgeting efforts, and implement cost-control measures.
Coordinate shift management, scheduling, and operational logistics to maximize productivity during peak hours.
Ensure compliance with all food safety standards, health regulations, and sanitation procedures across the restaurant.
Support catering events or banquet services as needed; oversee special functions to guarantee quality execution.

Skills

Extensive experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food service operations including casual dining, fine dining, or quick service environments.
Proven ability in supervising teams, conducting interviews, and developing staff through training & development initiatives.
Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; excellent cash handling skills.
Deep understanding of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management including food safety management practices.
Skilled in inventory control, food management, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis to drive financial success.
Exceptional managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of hospitality management principles including customer service excellence, shift management, and managing hospitality teams.
Experience in managing catering services or banquet operations is a plus; familiarity with bar or coffee shop environments is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food production, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Ability to motivate staff through leadership in team training & development while fostering a positive work environment.
