Full Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen and experience in financial accounting and general ledger reconciliation. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilize your skills and grow in your career.

Duties:

- Perform general ledger account and cash account reconciliations and apply accrual accounting principles
- Billing and collection for all lines of service
- Financial analysis on accounts and operating statistics
- Process weekly payroll for all company divisions and remit applicable withholdings
- Collaborate with the team on financial analysis and reporting and other special projects assigned by the CFO
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations

Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

- Strong financial acumen
- Experience in financial accounting
- Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation
- Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting practices
- Familiarity with payroll regulations
- Ability to use Sage Intacct or other similar software
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of accrual accounting principles
- Proficient in bank reconciliation processes
- Ability to analyze problems or errors in general ledger accounts
