Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist with food production according to established recipes and standards
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including flattop grills, ovens, fryers.
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation by adhering to proper sanitizing procedures and handling food safely at all times
Support menu planning efforts by ensuring timely preparation of dishes for service periods
Assist with dishwashing duties, ensuring all cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools are cleaned and sanitized regularly
Contribute to high-volume food production in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality control
Follow recipe adherence closely to ensure consistency across all dishes prepared

Skills

Previous experience in food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable
Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
Familiarity with food safety management protocols and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination
Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Knowledge of menu planning and food production processes in brunch
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in high-volume production settings
