Full Job Description

CAD Specialist

Benchmark Technologies a leading provider of semiconductor lithography test mask and CAD design and fabrication solutions for micro and nontechnology applications, is seeking a CAD specialist to complement its skilled team. This is a full time permanent position

Duties and Responsibilities:

Creates new CAD designs from customer inputs such as drawings or other details descriptions, modifies from newly supplied or archived files in support of fabrication projects for end customers.
Prepares work instructions including quality expectations for external fabrication partners
Interfaces with supply chain for problem solving, scheduling and quality issues.
Maintains project archives of CAD files, work instructions and quality reports
Collaborates with Benchmark management team, customers and vendors to realize project goals
Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Certificate, Diploma, or Associates Degree in CAD Design, or Equivalent Work Experience
3+ years of work experience in a CAD Technician role
Proficient using AutoCad, Tanner L-edit or KLayout
Familiarity with semiconductor photomask fabrication, specifications and processes
Proficient with MS Office products
Ability to work with little direct supervision and, complete projects on time
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with internal and external organizations
Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and follow-up skills is required to meet deadlines in a timely manner
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance

Preferred Qualifications / Education

Experience with photomask design for lithography applications
Experience using AutoCAD for mask layout and AutoCAD scripting
Knowledge of mask fabrication tools and processes is a plus but no mandatory
Experience with semiconductor processes is a plus but not mandatory
