Senior Tax Accountant

CPA, EA, or Experienced Public Accounting Tax Professional

About the Opportunity

Good Harbor Group has been exclusively retained by A. Wisialko & Company to identify an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join its established Westwood, Massachusetts practice.

For more than 60 years, A. Wisialko & Company has provided trusted CPA, tax, accounting, financial planning, and advisory services to individuals, families, and businesses throughout Massachusetts. Founded in 1963, the firm has built its reputation on long-standing client relationships, personalized service, and practical financial guidance.

Unlike firms focused primarily on tax season, A. Wisialko & Company builds year-round relationships with its clients. The firm's professionals serve as trusted advisors, helping individuals and business owners navigate tax planning, financial decisions, and changing regulations throughout the year.

We welcome applications from Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), Enrolled Agents (EAs), and highly experienced public accounting tax professionals who have a strong background in preparing individual and business tax returns and enjoy working directly with clients.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, partnership, S Corporation, C Corporation, nonprofit, trust, and estate tax returns.
Meet directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide tax planning and advisory services.
Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide proactive planning strategies.
Research and resolve federal and Massachusetts tax issues.
Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining exceptional service and accuracy.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with individuals, families, and business owners.
Collaborate with colleagues across tax, accounting, and financial planning to provide comprehensive client solutions.
Stay current on changes in federal and state tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications

CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or significant public accounting tax experience.
7-10+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
Extensive experience preparing individual, partnership, S Corporation, C Corporation, nonprofit, trust, and estate tax returns.
Strong knowledge of federal and Massachusetts tax laws.
Experience advising both individual and business clients.
Comfortable meeting directly with clients and building long-term relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client engagements.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and support staff.
