Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preschool Director to lead our early childhood education program with passion, innovation, and strategic vision. As the Preschool Director, you will oversee daily operations, foster a nurturing learning environment, and ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and promote childhood development excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of young learners while managing a vibrant school community committed to early childhood education.

Duties

Provide visionary leadership by developing and implementing curriculum plans aligned with best practices in early childhood education and childhood development standards.
Manage school operations including staffing, budgeting, and administrative functions to ensure smooth daily activities.
Supervise and evaluate faculty members, facilitating professional development opportunities to enhance instructional quality and team growth.
Oversee compliance with all educational regulations, legal requirements, and accreditation standards related to early childhood education and school administration.
Lead strategic planning initiatives to expand program offerings, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen community engagement through effective fundraising efforts.
Maintain oversight of school budgets, managing financial resources prudently while supporting educational excellence.
Foster a positive school culture by promoting teamwork, ensuring high-quality classroom experiences, and supporting staff in managing classroom environments effectively.
Collaborate with families to support student success and address individual needs within a nurturing environment focused on childhood development.
Facilitate faculty evaluation processes, including classroom observations and performance reviews, to uphold instructional leadership standards.
Ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed, maintaining a secure environment for children, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

Proven experience in preschool or early childhood education administration with a strong background in managing school operations.
Extensive knowledge of curriculum development tailored for early learners across K-12 settings with an emphasis on childhood development principles.
Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising staff, facilitating professional development, and managing teams effectively.
Strong understanding of educational compliance laws including special education law and childhood education regulations.
Experience in strategic planning, fundraising initiatives, budgeting, and managing financial resources as an educational administrator.
Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking, community engagement, and team collaboration.
Familiarity with school legal issues related to early childhood education and management of personnel matters within an educational setting.
Classroom teaching experience in early childhood or preschool settings is highly desirable to inform instructional leadership strategies.
Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while fostering an inclusive environment that supports diverse learners.
