Full Job Description

About Proper Ecom

Proper Ecom owns and operates a portfolio of consumer brands. We acquire, build brands and grow them across ecommerce channels.

Position Summary

Proper Ecom is seeking a senior Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Growth Marketing Manager to establish and grow the direct-to-consumer marketing channel across our portfolio of owned brands. Most of these brands currently have limited or no direct-to-consumer presence, and this position is responsible for building that channel and driving its growth.

This is a hands-on, individual role. The person in this position personally manages every function of direct-to-consumer marketing, including store management, paid advertising, organic/paid social media, and influencer partnerships. It is not a team-management role; the successful candidate is a senior specialist who executes the work directly and owns the results.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify and DTC store management: Build, maintain, and optimize each brand's online store, including merchandising, product and landing pages, checkout, and conversion rate optimization. Develop and manage email and SMS marketing flows.
Meta advertising: Plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns across Facebook and Instagram, including budgeting, audience targeting, and creative testing, measured against ROAS and CAC targets.
Google advertising: Manage Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns, including feed management, bidding, and budget pacing, optimized for profitable customer acquisition.
TikTok: Develop and execute content strategy and posting cadence, and grow audience, engagement, and sales on the platform.
Organic social media: Manage each brand's social presence, including the content calendar, brand voice, community management, and day-to-day posting.
Influencer and creator marketing: Identify and recruit creators, negotiate partnerships, manage relationships and deliverables, and track return on investment for each partnership.
Strategy, budgeting, and reporting: Prioritize brands for launch, maintain the marketing roadmap and forecast, allocate budget across channels, and report on ROAS, CAC, and profitability across the portfolio.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in direct-to-consumer or ecommerce marketing, with a record of owning a brand's growth end to end.
Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, including measurable ROAS and CAC results.
Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Shopify and conversion rate optimization, including building stores from the ground up.
Current, proven proficiency with TikTok and organic social media.
Experience planning and managing influencer and creator marketing programs.
Experience with email and SMS platforms such as Klaviyo.
Proven ability to scale revenue profitably and manage performance targets.
Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities simultaneously.
Available to work full-time, on-site at the Hallandale Beach, Florida office.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience launching new direct-to-consumer brands or stores from zero.
Hands-on skills in graphic design or short-form video editing.
Experience marketing multiple brands concurrently.

Compensation and Benefits

$25-$35/hour
