PRINCIPLED SOLUTIONS

Independent Life Insurance Provider (1099 / W9 Independent Contractor)

Location: Remote / Flexible / Texas
Compensation: 100% Commission Only (Uncapped)
Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099 or W9)

About

Principled Solutions, LLC is expanding our independent life insurance team and is seeking motivated, coachable individuals interested in developing a business in the insurance and financial-services industry.

Previous insurance experience is NOT required, and you do not need to have an active life insurance license to apply.

Candidates who are not currently licensed will receive guidance through the licensing process. An appropriate state insurance-producer license must be obtained before an individual may sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance.

This is a 1099 independent-contractor opportunity, not a W-2 salaried position. Compensation is 100% commission-based with uncapped commissions. There is no hourly wage, base salary, or guaranteed income.

We are looking for individuals who want more than a traditional sales position. Our goal is to provide new agents with hands-on training, mentorship, professional development, and ongoing support as they learn how to build and manage an independent insurance practice.

What You'll Do

After completing all required licensing and contracting requirements, independent agents will:

Meet with individuals and families to identify insurance and financial-protection needs.
Educate prospective clients about appropriate life insurance solutions.
Explain product features, benefits, costs, and available options.
Assist clients through the insurance application process.
Develop prospective clients through networking, referrals, relationship-building, and other approved marketing activities.
Maintain communication with clients throughout the application and underwriting process.
Build and manage an independent book of business.
Participate in ongoing product, sales, compliance, and professional-development training.
Maintain all required licenses, appointments, certifications, and continuing-education requirements applicable to the products they offer.

Qualifications

Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to learn and be coached.
Must be eligible to obtain a resident Life Insurance License.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Training & Mentorship

(Principled Solutions provides new agents with structured support as they develop their insurance business)

Support includes:

Hands-on training
One-on-one and team mentorship
Product education
Sales-process training
Client-conversation development
Prospecting and business-development guidance
Ongoing team training
Compliance guidance
Support during the transition from training to independent production
The objective is to help new agents develop the knowledge, skills, systems, and confidence necessary to eventually manage their insurance activities independently.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is 100% commission-based with no cap on earning potential. Earnings depend on individual production and business performance. No salary, hourly wage, or guaranteed income is provided.

Licensing Disclosure

Applicants are not required to hold an active Life Insurance License when applying. However, licensing is required before soliciting, selling, or servicing insurance products. Principled Solutions provides guidance and mentorship throughout the licensing process.
