Full Job Description

Lucid Vascular Ultrasound is currently seeking a full-time Sonographer to join our team. We specialize in high quality vascular ultrasound. Providing the best patient care possible is our primary goal. We service multiple Vascular Centers and private physicians' offices throughout the tri-county area. Individual must be able to scan Vascular and Echocardiograms/General Ultrasounds.

This position is for a full-time Registered Sonographer.

The Registered Sonographer will be responsible for:

-Performing Vascular studies. This includes, but not limited to carotids, lower extremity arterial and venous duplex for insufficiency, vein mapping, AV Fistula, upper extremity venous and arterial exams, abdominal aorta, IVC, and renal artery doppler.

-Working with computers and cloud based PACS systems

-Differentiating between normal and abnormal pathology and informing superior and physician of critical finding

-Candidate must have extensive knowledge pertaining to Vascular disease - Venous Insufficiency/Reflux, ABI/PVRs, AV Fistulas, Renal Artery, Lower/Upper Venous and Arterial studies

-Being flexible as it relates to schedules, responsibilities and priorities

-Working independently while also working in a strong team environment

-Excellent team player

-Must be punctual, dependable and reliable

-Must reside in Broward County and be able to travel to Miami Dade and Palm Beach

-Ability to adapt to various scanning protocols, time allotments and procedures to maintain efficient work-flow

-Maintaining clean equipment and optimum working condition

-Ultrasound machine provided

Qualifications:

-Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound program

- Minimum 3 years experience required in related field required

-Must be able to scan Vascular.

-Ability to scan Echocardiograms/General Ultrasounds required

-Experience performing venous insufficiency protocols required

-Credentials from ARDMS as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI as a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) required

-American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS Certification required

-Compensation is based on experience

-Spanish a plus

Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
