Oberer Management Services specializes in providing comprehensive, professional property management services. We have earned a reputation and repour for excellence in leadership and service in the Miami Valley's real estate community.

We have an immediate Full -Time opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper at our Corporate Office located in Miamisburg, OH. You will be responsible for financial data for use in maintaining accounting records and keeps records of financial transactions for managed properties. Recent experience in property management and Yardi would be preferred but will train.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

Accurately record financial data to produce financial records.
Prepare and enter journal enteries.
Generate accounting reports as needed.
Reconcile and report differences or issues found in financial records.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Assist with credit card process including recording credit card transactions.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis..
Ability to use accounting software to record, store and analyze financial data.
Ability to efficiently operate a 10 key calculator or equivalent and other related office equipment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Experience with Yardi software is a plus.
Experience property management bookkeeping is a plus.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree with accounting coursework preferred.
At least three (3) years of bookkeeping experience required, preferably in the financial industry.
