Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on pastry preparation and baking. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods and desserts that delight our customers and enhance our menu offerings.

Duties

Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes.
Package finished products for display or catering orders, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Utilize various kitchen tools and equipment safely, including knives and mixers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food production.
Assist in menu development by contributing creative ideas for new pastry items.
Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients.
Ensure Desserts and pastries meet both taste and visual standards

Experience

Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar culinary role is Required.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Creativity, precision, and a passion for baking
