Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Location: Fremont, CA

Employment Type: Contract

Industry: Semi-confuctor

Compensation: $30/hour

Schedule: Thursday- Sunday, 6am-4:30pm

About the Opportunity:

We're seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support CNC manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you'll work closely with engineers and production teams to operate CNC equipment, support quality initiatives, and help ensure precision manufacturing standards are met.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC machining experience who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do:

Set up and operate CNC milling machines
Load programs, install tooling, and set work offsets
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
Identify and report quality issues, machine malfunctions, and safety concerns
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures

What You'll Bring:

High school diploma or GED required
1-3 years of CNC machine operation experience
1+ years of experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
Basic understanding of G-code programming and CNC controls
Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to troubleshoot and support manufacturing processes

Ability to support engineers with testing, calibration, and experiments

Additional Information:

Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen
