Full Job Description

**Job Overview**

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This is a rare and excellent opportunity to join a well established dealership with great values and even a better team!

Must have Automotive Sales Management experience. Must be able to reliably commute to St Albans VT for a five day work week. Working Saturdays with 1 day off during the week. Pay will be based on performance of the dealership on a monthly basis. Full benefits included!

The ideal candidate would be someone who can assist with closing deals, drive sales growth and have a minor in the finance management function. A successful applicant must have a strong background in sales, have excellent communication skills and must possess effective negotiatation abilities.

**Responsibilities**

- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve/exceed sales targets and goals

- When needed, completing a proper paperwork delivery in the finance office while selling product and ensuring the maximum profitability of every deal

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth

- Ensure inventory control and accurate forecasting to optimize sales and minimize inventory costs

- Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term relationships and drive repeat business

- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions

- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Utilize sales management software to track sales performance and manage sales data

- Negotiate with customers to meet their needs and drive sales growth

**Experience**

- Proven track record of success in retail sales

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of sales representatives

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Experience with sales management software and the ability to analyze sales data

- Experience with finance management and conducting a proper delivery

**Duties:**

- Manage customer interactions from initial contact to the sale, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.

- Utilize software to track leads, manage sales pipelines, and analyze performance metrics.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of automotive sales and maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and services.

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring their needs are met.

- Collaborate with other sales executives to share best practices, improve sales strategies, and achieve team goals.

- Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential customers.

- Utilize phone etiquette to build rapport with customers and communicate effectively over the phone.

- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth of our business.

- Maintain a clean and organized sales environment, adhering to our company's policies and standards.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in automotive sales or a related field.

- Strong sales and customer service skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in software applications, particularly those used in sales and customer service.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with retail sales and the ability to adapt to our unique sales environment.

- A driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for this role.
