Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Accountant to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will manage comprehensive financial records for an individual client, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing expert guidance on financial planning and reporting. Your expertise will support clients in achieving their financial goals through meticulous bookkeeping, financial analysis, and strategic advice.

Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile personal financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
Prepare detailed financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing of transactions.
Conduct bank reconciliations and account analysis to verify data integrity.
Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to optimize their financial health.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and securities law where applicable.
Support regulatory reporting requirements and assist with audit preparations when necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in corporate or non-profit accounting environments with a strong understanding of technical accounting concepts.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Solid knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and accrual accounting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in account reconciliation and financial report writing.
