Our Comfort Inn® Missoula near University puts guests right where they want to be—just off I-90 on East Broadway, minutes from the University of Montana and Washington–Grizzly Stadium. Surrounded by mountain views and the natural beauty of Missoula, our spacious, smoke-free hotel is the ideal launchpad for your trip. The hotel is looking forward to an expansion and up branding, a process that has just started and can be shepherded by the new GM.

The hotel is proudly managed by Providence Hospitality Partners is based in Denver, Colorado, founded in 2002. SUMMARY: The General Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the hotel to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits. The hotel general manager plays a pivotal role in guest satisfaction by ensuring high standards of service, addressing guest and associate concerns promptly, and constantly seeking ways to enhance their experience. This role involves overseeing all departments to ensure they work in harmony and productively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Upholds and exceeds brand standards
Proudly represent Providence Hospitality Partners
Meets or exceeds budgeted revenue and profit goals
Creates a welcoming and productive environment for all associates
Plans, develops and implements organization policies and goals
Coordinates activities of departments within the hotel to ensure operational efficiency
Directs and coordinates promotion of hotel services to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry
Analyzes department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocates operating budget
Confers with administrative personnel and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required
Directs preparation of directives to Regional Director of Operations outlining policies, programs, or operational changes that need to be implemented
Promotes hotel within local associations
Performs other related duties as assigned by management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises employees within the department(s)
Indirectly supervises employees within the department(s)
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree required
One to two years of previous General Manager experience at a hotel
