If you're experienced in accounting within the the trade/construction industry, this position IS FOR YOU!

Choice Companies the home of Choice Floors & Choice Stairways is are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Processor to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with invoicing, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your expertise will support the organization’s financial health by applying sound accounting principles, utilizing advanced accounting software, and delivering exceptional customer service to clients and internal leadership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your analytical skills and attention to detail will make a significant impact.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Follow up by phone and email on overdue invoices through professional negotiation and effective communication with clients, maintaining positive relationships. THIS IS A MUST!!
Maintain collection call logs with clear notes on all emails, clear collections notes and efforts
Manage and process accounts receivable transactions using accounting software : RFMS & Global Shop
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of receivables and identify discrepancies promptly.
Apply payments accurately through data entry, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Provide excellent customer service via phone to resolve billing inquiries while demonstrating professional phone etiquette.

NECESSARY EXPERIENCE

Proven experience in accounts receivable functions within a corporate or Trade/Construction environment.
Familiarity with accounting software RFMS & Global Shop is a plus.
Demonstrated analysis skills for identifying trends and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
Excellent math skills including 10 key typing accuracy and attention to detail in data entry tasks.
Strong negotiation skills combined with effective communication abilities to facilitate collections while maintaining positive client relationships.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.
