Experienced Property & Casualty Insurance Agent

Compensation: $50k+/yr + commissions + performance bonuses

We're looking for a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in building lasting client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants the flexibility of an independent agency, access to multiple insurance carriers, and the opportunity to grow both professionally and financially.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain strong relationships with personal and commercial insurance clients
Write new business while identifying additional coverage opportunities for existing clients
Market accounts with multiple standard and Excess & Surplus (E&S) carriers to provide the best solutions for clients
Review renewals and proactively recommend coverage improvements
Service existing accounts, including policy changes, claims assistance, billing questions, rewrites, and coverage reviews
Maintain complete and accurate documentation in our agency management system
Work closely with teammates to deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish
Stay current on carrier guidelines, underwriting changes, and industry trends

What We're Looking For

Active Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance agency or company
Strong knowledge of both personal and commercial insurance
Experience marketing accounts with multiple carriers
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable learning new technology and agency systems
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Experience with EZLynx Agency Management System is a plus
Life & Health License is a plus
