Full Job Description

We are seeking a Quality CMM Technician / Engineer to support automotive manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality through advanced measurement systems and data-driven analysis. This role is critical in maintaining production standards, improving processes, and supporting overall quality performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CMM measurement programs
Perform CMM probing and scanning operations
Analyze measurement data and identify quality improvement opportunities
Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards and specifications
Conduct inspections and testing to evaluate product and process reliability
Prepare detailed reports by collecting and analyzing data
Support production teams with corrective actions and countermeasures
Work within production timelines to support on-time delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience with PolyWorks software
Hands-on experience with:
Matrixeye LT
FARO Edge Arm
Hexagon Romer Absolute Arm
Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
Knowledge of quality systems, audits, and Six Sigma methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to support production with data-driven recommendations
Willingness to travel as needed
Ability to work overtime when required

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2+ years in automotive manufacturing or quality engineering
Degree preferred (Engineering, Quality, or related field)
