Reports to the Manufacturing Team Lead

Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment to meet production requirements (i.e. DMG Mori, VF2 Haas, Kunzmann, GF, DMG Mori lathe NLX2500)

Interpret blueprints, metric drawings, and work orders to execute machining operations accurately

Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding to optimize machining performance

Perform offsets, tool changes, and in-process adjustments to maintain tight tolerances

Monitor machine operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and product quality

Inspect components using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges

Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend improvements to tooling, processes, or workflow

Follow standard work procedures, quality guidelines, and 5S practices

Cross-train and support other machines or value streams as needed

Contribute to a positive team environment and support company values and strategic goals

High school diploma or GED required

3+ years of CNC machining experience (3-axis required)

Must have a working knowledge of common GD&T symbols

Experience operating manual machines including mills, lathes, or grinders

Ability to read and interpret metric drawings and engineering blueprints

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

High attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality parts

Adaptability in a changing production environment and ability to multitask

Ability to stand or walk for at least 8 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs
