Full Job Description

As a Concrete Worker you will be essential in constructing and shaping concrete structures, ensuring precision and quality in your work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.

· Set up batter boards and conduct detailed anchor bolt layouts and build templates.

· Measure, cut, and assemble formwork for concrete structures.

· Install and align forms to ensure proper shape and dimensions.

· Secure formwork using nails, screws, and other fasteners.

· Work with and tie rebar and other reinforcement materials, as needed.

· Ensure all work complies with safety regulations.

· Remove forms after concrete has set.

· Place and finish structural and flatwork concrete.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES:

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

· Experience and ability in setting up and utilizing builders’ level and rotary lasers.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Competence to listen, understand, and follow directions.

· Positive attitude and ability to work with and lead others.

· Attention to detail and precision in measurements.

· Capability to work 50-60 hours per week.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Must have proven experience as a concrete form carpenter.

· Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment.

· Strong understanding of construction safety practices.

· Must have a valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.

· Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
