Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Manual Machinist for Express Employment Professionals in Morgantown, West Virginia.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Set up and operate conventional machine tools including engine lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other manual machining equipment
Machine precision metal components while maintaining close tolerances and exceptional quality standards
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and technical specifications
Perform turning, milling, drilling, boring, facing, threading, and precision machining operations
Select tooling, fixtures, machine attachments, and machining methods for each job
Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments and make machine adjustments as needed
Perform routine equipment maintenance while maintaining a safe and organized work environment

COMPENSATION

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday
First Shift
7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
Experience Operating Conventional Manual Machine Tools REQUIRED
Experience with Engine Lathes REQUIRED
Experience with Milling Machines REQUIRED
Experience with Drill Presses REQUIRED
Experience with Grinders REQUIRED
Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints and Technical Drawings REQUIRED
Experience Using Precision Measuring Instruments Including Calipers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators, and Gauges REQUIRED
Ability to Machine Precision Parts to Close Tolerances REQUIRED
Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Troubleshooting Skills REQUIRED
Commitment to Workplace Safety and Quality Standards REQUIRED

Preferred Qualifications

Three or More Years of Conventional Machining Experience
Experience Machining Custom, Prototype, or Repair Parts
Basic CNC Machine Knowledge
Welding or Fabrication Experience
Tool and Die Experience
Experience Working with Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Brass, and Bronze
Ability to Perform Basic Machine Maintenance and Repairs
Vocational or Technical Machining Training
