Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are Réforme Dermatology & Aesthetics! We are located at 302 Wingo way in Mount Pleasant office and looking for a front desk patient coordinator! We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Patient Coordinator to join our growing dermatology and aesthetics practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced medical office, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.

The start date is flexible- can start ASAP or wait until end of august/very early September!

Responsibilities

Welcome and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
Schedule and confirm appointments for medical dermatology and aesthetic services
Communicate with patients through Klara texting platform
Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and collect necessary documentation
Process patient payments, copays, and balances
Assist patients with insurance questions and obtain prior authorizations as needed
Work closely with the billing department to resolve insurance and patient account issues
Maintain accurate patient records using ModMed EMA electronic medical records (EMR)
Ensure smooth patient flow and provide outstanding customer service throughout each visit
Perform general administrative and front office duties to support the practice

Qualifications

Previous medical front desk or medical office experience preferred
Experience with ModMed EMA and ModMed Practice Management (PM) is a plus
Experience using Klara or similar patient communication software preferred
Knowledge of medical insurance verification and benefits
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Reliable, dependable, and a team player
Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
