At 3:23 Metal Works, we specialize in architectural metals, structural steel, custom stair systems, railings, gates, shade structures, and commercial and residential metal fabrication.

We are looking for a Welder / Fabricator / Installer who is more than a skilled welder. We want someone who enjoys building quality projects from start to finish, takes ownership of their work, and wants to grow with a company that values craftsmanship and teamwork.

If you are dependable, hardworking, and committed to doing things the right way, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld custom metal projects in the shop.
Install finished products at commercial and residential job sites.
Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
Accurately measure, lay out, fit, tack, and weld materials.
Perform quality MIG and Flux Core welding; TIG and Stick experience is a plus.
Fabricate railings, stairs, gates, structural steel, shade structures, and miscellaneous metal projects.
Operate saws, grinders, drill presses, and other fabrication equipment.
Safely operate forklifts and job-site equipment when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Communicate and work professionally with customers, contractors, and team members.
Follow company safety standards and represent 3:23 Metal Works professionally on every job.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

MIG (GMAW) welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
Flux Core (FCAW) welding, including dual-shield and E71T-8 wire such as 232/233
AWS D1.1 certification or related experience
TIG welding of stainless steel and aluminum
Blueprint and shop-drawing interpretation
Steel fabrication, layout, measuring, fit-up, and assembly
Structural steel and architectural metal fabrication
Installation of stairs, railings, handrails, gates, fencing, columns, beams, and miscellaneous architectural metals
High-quality grinding, cleanup, and finishing
Safe operation of fabrication tools and equipment
Forklift operation, preferred
