Dave's Coffee (CHARLESTOWN SHOP)

Calling all coffee lovers and baking enthusiasts!

Dave's Coffee is a cozy, busy, family-owned coffee shop popular with locals and tourists alike. Known for our locally roasted coffee, in-house baked goods, delicious breakfast sandwiches, and personal, friendly service!

We're looking for a dependable, energetic team member who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This swing position offers a variety of responsibilities, alternating between barista and bakery duties to help support daily operations.

*WEEKENDS (SATURDAY & SUNDAY) AND HOLIDAYS ARE REQUIRED*

What we're looking for:

A warm smile and a passion for coffee: You'll be the face of our shop, greeting customers and making their day a little brighter with your coffee expertise and friendly banter.
A team player who can multitask, work efficiently and quickly: Think you can whip up a latte and answer a customer's question about our latest roast all at once? You're our kind of person!
Someone with basic knowledge of food and sanitation safety practices, and with the ability to keep a clean and tidy workspace
Reliability and a flexible schedule, where weekends/holidays are required
The ability to stand/lift/work for 7 hour shifts, and be able to work early mornings.

Your duties as a member of our team will include:

Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with consistency and quality.
Prepping and making breakfast sandwiches
Learning to bake and prepare our in-house made baked goods
Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Operate the cash register and process customer transactions.
Maintain a clean and organized café, kitchen, dining and beverage stations.
Restock supplies throughout the shift.
Follow Food Safety Rules and Regulations
Sweeping, mopping, trash removal, dishwashing and deep cleaning
Taking pride and ensure high quality in all of our products

Hours per week:

30-35

This Job Is:
