FlexTrades is seeking a Mechanical Drafter/Designer with strong Autodesk Inventor expertise to support the design and fabrication of ASME pressure vessels and modular skid packages. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of designs from P&ID through 3D modeling and fabrication drawings, working directly with engineering and fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and detail pressure vessels, piping systems, and skid-mounted process equipment
- Translate P&IDs into 3D Inventor models and fabrication drawings
- Perform pipe routing, structural layouts (frames, supports, platforms)
- Create and manage complete BOMs
- Modify existing designs and implement engineering change updates
- Ensure designs meet fabrication requirements, ASME standards, and customer specifications
- Work with engineering and project teams to support design revisions and improvements
Qualifications
- Expert-level Autodesk Inventor experience
- iLogic, Tube & pipe routing, Frame Generator
- Content Center (modifying & creating custom components)
- BOM management
- Experience designing piping skids and pressure vessels
- Strong understanding of ASME codes (Section VIII preferred)
- Ability to create custom designs from scratch when components are not in library
- Experience producing:
- 3D models, fabrication drawings, isometrics, and BOMs
- Strong understanding of piping systems, layouts, and routing
- Ability to work from P&IDs to fully developed 3D models and drawing packages
Nice to Have: Background in oil & gas, process equipment, or modular systems. Knowledge of weld procedures, heat treatment, and fabrication practices
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $40/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
