Full Job Description

Position Summary:

Billing and Accounts Receivable professional with experience in customer invoicing, billing operations, account reconciliations, and financial systems. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in working with ERP and accounting systems, including invoice processing, billing adjustments, customer inquiries, and month-end close activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams, manage multiple priorities, meet aggressive deadlines, and support process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end billing and invoicing processes using billing, AR, and ERP systems.
Generate regular and on-demand customer invoices, credit/debit adjustments, and intercompany invoices.
Ensure invoices are accurate, properly approved, and delivered to customers on time.
Upload invoices and supporting documents to customer portals.
Coordinate with internal requestors and business teams to obtain missing billing information and documentation.
Prepare monthly billing reconciliations, analyze discrepancies, and maintain accurate billing records.
Investigate and resolve customer billing disputes, invoice discrepancies, and inquiries in collaboration with Sales, Client Services, Accounting, and other departments.
Support month-end close activities by validating billing transactions and providing required reports and documentation.
Prepare and maintain documentation required for internal and external audits.
Use Microsoft Excel to analyze billing data, perform reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and prepare billing metrics.
Support accounting and ERP system interfaces and participate in system enhancement projects.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with implementing improved billing processes.
Manage multiple priorities, ad-hoc requests, and time-sensitive billing activities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Prior experience in billing, invoicing, Accounts Receivable, or accounting operations is preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required, including experience with data analysis and reconciliations.
Experience with accounting, Accounts Receivable, or ERP systems; Oracle experience is a plus.
General understanding of accounting principles, billing processes, and financial reconciliations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet aggressive deadlines.
Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt to process and system changes and demonstrate a continuous process-improvement mindset.
Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Media industry experience is a plus.
