Job Summary

Ready to be your own boss without the hassle of all the things that come with owning a buisness? We are seeking an energetic and charismatic Speed Dating Director/Host to lead engaging matchmaking events that foster meaningful connections. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of speed dating sessions, ensuring a lively, welcoming atmosphere that encourages interaction and fun. We will provide the tools of hiring, training, systems, payroll, and operations so you can focus on launching a location in your city that is a part of us. You will get to decide what days and times work best, hire your own team, and run your own business with our support as a contract-(part time) at about 5 hours weekly..

Duties

Within the 1st 90 days, you will meet with local businesses to establish venues and location of service. Once you have secured a regular veneue, you will hire and choose your own staff to support you. The best part, we pay the staff and a salary to get you started.
Following this, you will be able to Plan and coordinate all aspects of speed dating events, including venue setup, participant registration, and event flow.
Host events with enthusiasm, guiding participants through the process and maintaining a lively, positive environment.
Consult with us on all materials and event budgets- we take care of all marketing materials that you should need including social media.
Have access to utilize event management software and CRM systems to register participants, track engagement, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, and vendors to secure quality services at favorable terms.
Lead a team of staff or volunteers, providing clear direction and support to ensure seamless event execution.
Maintain excellent customer service by addressing participant inquiries promptly and professionally.
Work with venues to ensure event guidlines are met with guests. (Minimum age , safe drinking policy, and Sexual Harrassment Policy)
Be comfortable with photos, social media, and being the face of the organization.
Must be comfortable with public speaking, not afraid of being told no, natural born sales person and leader.

Qualifications

Proven experience people management in any field or experience leading small teams.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of managing vendor contracts and upselling opportunities.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, event management software, CRM systems, and basic technical tools.
Demonstrated ability to oversee budgets effectively while delivering high-quality events within financial constraints.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in coordinating multiple facets of event logistics.
Be willing to assist in marketing or promoting events through various channels to boost attendance.
Background in guest services or banquet management is highly desirable.
Ability to lead a team with strong leadership qualities and manage time efficiently under pressure.
Bachelors Degree in any field.
