Full Job Description

Job Title: Lead Early Childhood Physical Education Coach
Job Type: Part-Time

Core Position: Morning Early Childhood P.E.

Approximately 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Monday–Friday opportunities

Expected Hours: 5–30 hours per week, based on selected schedule and optional add-on opportunities

Position Term: September 2026–June 2027, with opportunities for summer and continued employment

Pay Range: $25–$35/hour

Want More Hours? Optional Add-On Opportunities

After-School Enrichment Coaching: 2:30–4:00 PM at $30–$50/hour
Virtual/Admin Work: 4–5 flexible hours per week

Are you sporty, energetic, playful, and confident? Do you genuinely love working with young children and have the presence to command a room while still being playful enough to get down and join the fun?

Champ Fusion is celebrating 10 years of introducing young children to physical literacy through play, and we’re auditioning our next Lead Early Childhood P.E. Coach.

If you’re passionate about early childhood physical education (ages 2–6), love working with large groups of kiddos, and want to help shape positive first experiences through movement and play, we want to hear from you!

You’ll lead our school-day P.E. programs using Champ Fusion’s established curriculum while building strong relationships with our school partners. This is a physically active, hands-on role. You’ll move, demonstrate, set up equipment, use your imagination, and confidently command the attention of a room full of young children.

You do not need to be an expert in every sport. We teach foundational physical literacy, not sport specialization. We provide the curriculum and training. You bring the energy, leadership, and personality.

You Must Have

Experience leading groups of children ages 2–6
A background in sports, physical education, early childhood education, coaching, or a related field
A sporty, lively, outgoing personality with the confidence to command a group
A vivid imagination and willingness to get down, move, demonstrate, and play
The ability to work independently, stay organized, and take ownership of your programs
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Reliable transportation with enough space to carry program equipment
Ability to travel to Closter, Fort Lee, and Paramus, NJ
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain physically active throughout classes
A reliable cell phone and consistent communication access
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to pass required background checks
