Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist PRN (Pro Re Nata, meaning "as needed") to join our dynamic dental team in,. This flexible role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality dental care to diverse patient populations, including pediatric and adult patients, in a supportive and professional environment. As a PRN Dentist, you will deliver comprehensive dental services, ensuring patient comfort and safety while adhering to all regulatory standards. Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry as needed.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and infection prevention standards.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care.
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote optimal outcomes.

Skills

Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and healthcare diagnosis.
Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canals), prosthodontics, and anesthesia administration.
Ability to perform dental fabrication procedures and manage complex cases involving dental restorations or implants.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and effective communication.
Familiarity with medical records management and medical documentation standards in a dental setting.
Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
