Full Job Description

Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

The Senior Systems Administrator role reports directly to the global head of IT, working hand-in hand to maintain and implement global IT projects. The position is responsible for maintaining a robust cloud and on-premises client/server infrastructure; working with other global team members to ensure uptime throughout the global infrastructure. They must possess excellent communication and documentation skills, taking the lead on IT projects spanning physical and virtual machines and IaaS software and services, PaaS & SaaS included. Must be a team player, serving as subject expert for helpdesk escalations. We are a skilled global team and require an individual who is proactive, detail oriented and can multi-task easily.

Job Requirements:

· 10+ years of Hybrid (Azure Cloud & On-Prem Hyper-V) Infrastructure Support experience. Proven Windows & various Server Role implementation and support. Efficiency minded embracing automation for maintenance and monitoring of cloud and private datacenters

· 5+ years of proven Global Intra-Office Network Infrastructure knowledge and experience. Advanced Enterprise & Branch firewall expertise (Sophos, Fortinet, Meraki, etc.) and WAN/LAN administration. Experienced Client SSLVPN connectivity implementations able to enforce and adopt new security practices to a mostly remote global staff. Cisco, Meraki & Next-generation firewall knowledge required.

· 10+ years of impeccable Level II/III IT Support experience, well versed in SLA fulfillment, ticketing and escalation. White-glove remote and on-premises user support, able to communicate clearly and concisely with C-suite level executives and other staff to quickly resolve incidents. In-office 2 days per week or as needed after-hours & weekends.

· 8+ years of advanced knowledge of Office 365 implementation and support. Exchange Online, Intune MDM, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Teams VOIP and conference room administration and advancement. Proven Enterprise Application experience, Entra ID, and conditional access.

· Proven experience in Public Domain Management viz. the process of maintaining and securing a domain name and its associated records. Should have practical experience in DNS Management, Monitoring and Adjustments to the DNS records.

· 10+ Year Technologist, well versed in IT products and services evaluation and implementation. Storage and appliance hardware maintenance & conventions. A strong grasp of Change Management and ITIL concepts, capable of both critical and outside-the-box thinking to resolve issues and conclude projects on-time and on-budget. Embraces concepts like cloud-first, zero-trust & least privilege access. A good listener, able to work well with an experienced global IT team, sharing with and learning from expertise in and outside their wheelhouse.

· Requires minimum lifting ability of 30 pounds;

· Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer/Information Systems related disciplines preferred; exceptions for extensive relevant experience

Compensation:

· $90K – $110K annually with 10% bonus target
