Full Job Description

Woods & Co Recruitment have been granted the opportunity to partner with an exciting new venue opening! Based in Tribeca, this speciality Wine & Tapas bar will be one of the hottest tickets in town, and we are on the lookout for a Managing Partner to take ownership over the operation. This role will provide you the opportunity for this place to be "yours" and have a say in all the critical decisions.

As the Managing Partner you will possess a deep knowledge of the NYC Hospitality scene and have experience managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a high-end venue.

What do you do?

Supervise daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
Drive strategic decisions around revenue growth and profitability.
Ensure the bar is fully stocked with wine, beverages, and supplies
Recruit, train, and oversee bartenders, servers, and support staff.
Create staff schedules while managing labor costs.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address staff concerns or conflicts.
Deliver excellent customer service and quickly resolve guest complaints.
Implement strategies to improve the guest experience.
Manage reservations and special events for a smooth customer journey.
Monitor inventory and place orders for wine, beverages, and supplies.
Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate favourable terms.
Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent losses and ensure accuracy.
Represent the venue in PR initiatives and influencer partnerships.

What do you need?

Over 3 years of managerial experience, preferably in a high-end hospitality setting.
Prior experience with venue openings.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and commercial performance.
Experience collaborating with PR teams and influencer partnerships.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Proficient in using POS systems and inventory management software.
Excellent presentation skills
