HUDSON UNITED TITLE SERVICES LLC is looking for a talented NJ Title Processor to join our dedicated team in Morris Plains, New Jersey and we are also looking for someone to fill our position in the Nanuet, New York location. We're a growing company committed to providing exceptional service and expertise in the real estate and property sector. As our NJ Title Processor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of real estate closings. You'll be the go-to person for examining titles, resolving complex issues, and guiding clients through one of the most significant transactions of their lives. If you thrive on bringing order to complex processes and enjoy being an essential part of successful property deals, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity with us. This position is also suitable for bank attorneys and or paralegals.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience processing residential real estate transactions in New Jersey.

In-depth knowledge of New Jersey title insurance laws, procedures, and best practices.

Proficiency with title production software (e.g., SoftPro, ResWare, TitleFusion) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.

A proactive approach to problem-solving.

Hybrid

Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Examine titles, identify potential issues or defects, and determine insurability.

Order and review title commitments, surveys, and underlying title documents.

Prepare and issue title insurance policies and endorsements.

Coordinate with real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and other parties to ensure smooth closings.

Manage the closing process, including scheduling, document preparation, and disbursement.

Maintain accurate and organized client files.

Stay current with New Jersey real estate and title insurance regulations.
