Experienced Automotive Dealership Accountant

Location: David Stanley Chevrolet | Oklahoma City, OK

Job Type: Full-Time

Incentive: Sign-On Bonus Available (Amount depends on experience)

At David Stanley Chevrolet, we don’t just sell cars—we build a high-performing team that keeps our business running smoothly. We are looking for an Experienced Automotive Accounting Specialist who knows dealership operations inside and out.

If you are a detail-driven numbers expert with hands-on experience handling dealership accounts, schedules, and financial records, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Do

As a core member of our business office, you’ll oversee key financial functions to keep our dealership accurate, compliant, and thriving:

Manage AP/AR Operations: Efficiently process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, track receivables, and issue timely payments.
Maintain Schedules: Clean and reconcile dealership accounting schedules routinely to ensure complete accuracy.
Dealership Processing: Handle deal posting, trade-in payoff verification, and lien releases as needed.
Month-End Support: Assist the Controller/Office Manager with month-end close, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with sales, service, and parts management to resolve billing questions or schedule discrepancies quickly.

What We’re Looking For

Dealership Experience Required: 2+ years of automotive accounting experience (DMS knowledge such as Reynolds Reynolds, CDK, or Dealertrack is highly preferred).
Financial Accuracy: Deep understanding of automotive accounting principles, AP/AR, and schedule maintenance.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Excel and standard office applications.
Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for spotting discrepancies before they become problems.
Team Player: Clear communicator who works well with internal teams, vendors, and management.
