Silver Leaf Property Management is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team in Fargo. Our Accountants plays a key role in supporting the financial health of our organization through accurate recordkeeping, accounts payable and receivable management, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and administrative support. Primary Responsibilities

Generate timely and accurate billing for work orders, management fees, and related services.
Reconcile employee and property credit card statements.
Record journal entries and maintain accurate financial records across multiple property and corporate ledgers.
Process accounts payable invoices and prepare vendor payments.
Perform monthly bank account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of year-end financial reports and audit documentation.
Analyze financial, operational, and transactional data while exercising sound judgment.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting efficiencies and internal processes.
Demonstrate accountability and a commitment to serving the needs of the business, property owners, residents, and business partners.
Present a professional image in all interactions with staff, vendors, owners, and residents.
Maintain positive and productive working relationships with team members.
Handle sensitive financial and customer information with professionalism and confidentiality.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive accounting experience; property management accounting experience preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Experience with accounting software systems.
Knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to develop consistent, logical, and effective accounting solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of financial information.
