AUTOMOTIVE, RECEPTIONIST-CASHIER

Full-Time Hourly Pay

Automotive Experience Preferred

MIDWAY FORD MIAMI is seeking a full-time Receptionist - Cashier for their busy store. Our ideal candidate is a person who is described as outgoing and friendly with good attention to detail. Automotive dealership experience is preferred but not required.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Receptionist - Cashier provides a professional, friendly impression to dealership customers and visitors, handles telephone messages and calls in a professional and efficient manner; takes payment by cash, check or credit card, and makes cash change. The Receptionist-Cashier will also perform clerical duties to support the operation of daily business.

JOB DUTIES:

Answer telephone, direct and screen calls, take and relay messages.
Maintain appointment diary, either electronically or manually.
Prepare letters and documents.
Receive and sort mail, email and deliveries.
Maintain common areas with required office supplies as appropriate.
Collect payments by cash, check, or charge; make change for cash customers; balance cash drawer
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Automotive business experience preferred but not required
General knowledge of clerical, cashier and administrative procedures
Knowledge of customer service practices and principles
Good communications skills and professional personal presentation
Good basic math skills
Ability to multi-task in a sometimes high-stress, demanding environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in administrative or clerical activities is required; automotive experience is a plus
