Job posting: Junior Digital Marketing Specialist

# Role:

GrowthHive is looking for a hands-on junior digital professional who can help us execute, measure, and improve modern B2B marketing programs. This role has evolved beyond a traditional junior web developer position. The strongest candidate will be comfortable working across paid media, AI-enabled workflows, AI Engine Optimization (AEO), website support, analytics, and basic internal IT administration.

You do not need to be an expert in every area on day one. You do need to be technically curious, analytical, organized, comfortable learning new platforms quickly, and willing to troubleshoot until you solve the problem.

# What you will do:

Manage and optimize Google Ads and LinkedIn campaigns for B2B audiences, including keyword research, campaign structure, conversion tracking, testing, reporting, and budget pacing.
Help build and maintain practical AI bots, agents, and automations that improve marketing, sales, research, reporting, content, and internal workflows.
Support AEO and modern SEO initiatives so client content performs in traditional search and AI-powered answer engines.
Monitor and interpret performance data across Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, SEMrush, advertising platforms, and related tools.
Build, update, and troubleshoot client websites and landing pages, primarily in WordPress/Divi and HubSpot. Note: Web development remains important, but it is not the role’s primary focus.
Assist with basic internal IT administration, including employee onboarding/offboarding, account and permission setup, Microsoft 365 access, WiFi/network troubleshooting, printers, and other everyday office technology issues.
Document processes, credentials ownership, configurations, and recurring technical tasks so the team can operate consistently and securely.
Communicate project status clearly and collaborate with strategy, marketing, sales, creative, and client-facing teams.

# What we are looking for:

A self-motivated, practical problem solver with strong attention to detail and the discipline to communicate, test, measure, document, and improve.
Strong interest in emerging technologies (AI tools, workflow automation, bots, agents, APIs, or no-code/low-code automation platforms…).
Hands-on experience with Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager is preferred.
Comfort with analytics, conversion tracking, UTM discipline, pixels/tags, dashboards, and campaign reporting.
Basic Microsoft Excel skills is a must.
Working knowledge of WordPress and/or HubSpot CMS, plus enough HTML/CSS experience to make front-end changes and troubleshoot common issues.
Comfort with Microsoft 365 and basic business IT concepts such as users, permissions, WiFi, devices, shared drives, and account security.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects while communicating clearly when priorities or issues change.
Strong time management skills required.
Strong communication skills required (internal first, then gradually with the clients)

#Technical foundation:

Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and conversion tracking.
LinkedIn Campaign Manager and B2B audience targeting.
HubSpot Marketing/CMS tools and WordPress; Divi experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript/PHP troubleshooting.
Familiar with SEO/AEO tools such as SEMrush/HubSpot or comparable platforms.
AI platforms and automation tools; experience building useful agents, assistants, or multi-step workflows is a significant plus.
Basic understanding of domains, DNS, hosting, SSL, website security, and common web infrastructure concepts.
Basic understanding of office networking, WiFi troubleshooting, user accounts, permissions, and Microsoft 365 administration.

# Bonus skills:

HubSpot certifications, Google Ads certifications, Google Analytics certifications, or LinkedIn Ads experience.
Experience with WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Shopify, or other CMS/e-commerce platforms.
Git/GitHub, Sass, custom WordPress themes/child themes, HubL, or HubSpot module/theme development.
Experience with APIs, Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate, or similar automation platforms.
Familiarity with AI search visibility, schema markup, structured data, prompt testing, retrieval workflows, or LLM-oriented content optimization.
Basic Linux, AWS, Linode, server administration, or cloud hosting experience.
Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other design-production experience.
Previous agency or B2B industrial/manufacturing marketing experience is helpful, but not required.

# Experience and mindset:

We value capability and learning speed more than a rigid checklist. A degree in computer science is not required. Relevant coursework, certifications, internships, freelance work, personal projects, or 1-3 years of professional experience can all demonstrate fit. Candidates should be able to show examples of work, campaigns, automations, websites, dashboards, or technical projects they have contributed to.
