Full Job Description

Inspired Mind Mental Health is a small (~10 person) innovative Peer-run organization in San Diego, shifting the paradigm in mental health. Working with us isn't like working with any other company. We are growing our in-person peer support groups in North County San Diego (Oceanside and Carlsbad) and looking for a facilitator with lived experience to join us.

What we're looking for:

Lived experience with mental health and/or recovery

CPSS or RADT certification

Availability to facilitate in-person sessions in the North County San Diego area

For Neurodiversity Gifts Groups - Someone who is well-versed in psychology and has an intellectual, curious, spiritual, and open mind.

For Inspired Canvas Groups - Someone who is tech savvy, creative, well-versed in psychology, can multi-task, and can problem solve with tech.

For both groups - Wisdom, intuition, ability to read the room, someone who can bring people to life and also navigate when people try to dominate a group, honesty, hard-working mentality, punctuality and reliability.

What this is:

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. You bring your own approach to facilitation of our curriculum (with our guidance), and training and support are provided as you get started.

If you have lived experience and a passion for peer support, we would love to connect and change the game together!

Pay: $38.00 - $75.00 per hour
