Job Summary
Join our vibrant culinary team as a Sushi Chef and Server, where your passion for Japanese cuisine and exceptional guest service will shine! Whether preparing authentic sushi in the kitchen or serving with a smile at the table, you’ll be an essential part of creating a lively, upscale dining atmosphere. Duties

Prepare and assemble sushi dishes with precision, ensuring presentation and quality meet high standards
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area following food safety protocols
Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure seamless transactions
Serve guests promptly and courteously, providing detailed menu guidance and upselling suggestions to enhance their experience
Manage food handling and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations and safety standards
Assist with food preparation tasks, including slicing fish, preparing rice, and assembling ingredients for sushi rolls
Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

Previous culinary experience with a focus on sushi preparation or fine dining is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy hours
Proven customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to serving guests
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
Experience in restaurant settings such as food service, hospitality, or nightclub environments is beneficial
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques
Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus throughout shifts
