Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and team members, ensuring a positive and professional experience. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will keep our front office running smoothly while providing exceptional customer service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise in a fast-paced environment that values enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors/patients warmly and direct them appropriately, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor at all times
Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, answering inquiries promptly and routing calls accurately using proper phone etiquette
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages with precision and confidentiality
Maintain an organized patient flow, data entry records, and ensure accurate document proofreading for clarity and correctness
Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, insurance verification and referrals, medical records request
Utilize computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Athena EMR, Availity
Assist with clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, filing, and updating databases with meticulous attention to detail

Experience

Proven office experience or administrative support background in a professional setting
Strong medical customer service skills with a friendly yet professional approach to client interactions
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette best practices
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively
Demonstrated proficiency with computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications, EMR, data entry, proofreading, and filing systems
Experience in medical receptionist roles is a plus; relevant personal assistant or office management experience is valued
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing time effectively
