Assistant Manager – Automotive Repair (Growth Opportunity)

We’re a growing, family owned and operated automotive repair company looking for a driven Assistant Manager who’s ready to step into a key leadership role.

This position is ideal for someone who already has experience in the automotive industry and is looking to grow into higher-level management, while making an immediate impact on team performance and customer experience.

You’ll work side-by-side with the Store Manager to help lead the team, keep operations running smoothly, and ensure every customer has a top-tier experience.

What You’ll Do

Help lead and support a team of technicians and service advisors
Assist in day-to-day shop operations, keeping workflow efficient and organized
Dispatch and schedule work to maximize productivity
Communicate clearly with customers, translating technical issues into understandable terms
Support the team in delivering high-quality repairs and excellent service
Step in to handle customer concerns and ensure positive outcomes
Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment
Assist with parts coordination, scheduling, and shop organization
Help enforce processes, standards, and accountability

What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in automotive (Service Advisor, Lead Tech, Foreman, etc.)
Strong people skills—you know how to work with both customers and team members
Ability to stay organized and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable on the phone and in person with customers
