Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments to ensure seamless warehouse operations. This role plays a vital part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting order fulfillment, and facilitating efficient warehouse distribution. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and experience in shipping and receiving processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

Receive Incoming Shipments, Unloading Containers, Etc. – Unload, inspect, and verify incoming products against purchase orders and packing slips.
Verify Inventory Accuracy – Count and confirm quantities, identify discrepancies, and report shortages or damages.
Data Entry & Documentation – Enter receiving information into company systems accurately and maintain organized records.
Labeling & Product Identification – Apply labels, pallet tags, and other required identifiers to incoming inventory.
Inventory Support – Assist with inventory counts, audits, and stock organization to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Coordinate with Vendors & Internal Teams – Communicate receiving issues, shipment discrepancies, and inventory concerns as needed.
Maintain Organized Receiving Area – Ensure receiving and staging areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
Follow Company Procedures – Adhere to established receiving, inventory control, and warehouse safety procedures.

Qualifications

Prior warehouse, receiving, inventory, or logistics experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable using computers and data entry systems.
Ability to lift and move packages as needed.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
