We provide professional healthcare laundry services and a comprehensive range of reusable textiles, including reusable surgical products, designed to support patient care at hospitals and long-term care facilities. We own and operate highly efficient regional laundry plants, including the largest plant in North America.

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician - Production to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of production equipment and machinery. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable production environment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting ongoing improvements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced industrial setting, contributing directly to the success of our laundry processing plant.

Duties

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
Troubleshoot complex machinery issues utilizing schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery meets quality standards.
Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and modify automated systems for optimal performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Collaborate with production teams to coordinate field service repairs and minimize production downtime.

Experience and Skills

Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial maintenance environment
Electrical & Control Systems: Proficiency in three-phase power systems, low voltage, motor controls, and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) using ladder logic.
Utility Systems: Working knowledge of boilers, steam lines, water systems (pumps and valves), and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Excellent analysis skills to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
Effective communication skills in English for technical documentation and team collaboration.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
