Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are currently running a $2000 sign on bonus for Full Time only.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide essential direct patient care, support clinical staff, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for patients across various care settings. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to individuals of all ages, including those with complex medical needs. Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Support clinical procedures such as catheter care, wound dressing changes, and basic medication administration under supervision.
Maintain patient safety by utilizing proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices, including the use of equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
Document patient information thoroughly in medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and address patient needs promptly.
Assist with patient transfers using appropriate transfer methods and ensure comfort during movement or repositioning.

Requirements

Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring specialized memory or dementia care.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks/Cerner) systems for accurate documentation.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices during patient transfers or manual handling tasks.
Strong caregiver communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient service.
Prior experience in long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), assisted living communities, or home & community care settings is highly desirable.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR required; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or medication administration are a plus.
