Receptionist

Contract (3 months)
Downtown NW Portland, OR
Onsite (8AM-5PM)

What you should know:

Are you someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience, staying organized, and being the go-to person who keeps an office running smoothly? Mulberry is partnering with a well-established dairy cooperative to hire a Receptionist for a three-month contract assignment in downtown Portland.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a customer-facing environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. You'll serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors while supporting daily office operations and ensuring the front desk remains professional, organized, and efficient. If you're proactive, personable, and enjoy wearing many hats, we'd love to hear from you.

A day in the life:

Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking accurate messages as needed.
Manage visitor sign-in procedures and notify employees of guest arrivals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office and reception area.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
Coordinate outgoing mail and courier services.
Assist with scheduling conference rooms and preparing meeting spaces.
Monitor and replenish office and breakroom supplies as needed.
Provide administrative support including filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.
Respond to general inquiries from employees, visitors, and vendors.
Ensure a positive first impression of the organization through exceptional customer service.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

1+ years of reception and/or administrative experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
Must be proactive, service-minded, organized, and highly professional

Compensation and Benefits: $25-28/hour. Temporary benefits available including medical, dental, vision and 401k.
