Noor Tutoring Co. is expanding its private tutoring team and seeking exceptional educators who combine academic strength with emotional intelligence, integrity, adaptability, and genuine care for the students entrusted to them.
We are building more than a tutoring roster. We are building a team of educators who believe excellent teaching begins with understanding the individual student.
Tutors are matched with students according to their strongest subjects, experience, availability, and areas of specialization. You are not expected to teach every subject or possess every specialty listed below.
Who We Are Looking For
We welcome experienced tutors, educators, advanced university students, academic coaches, engineers, technology professionals, language specialists, and other candidates with exceptional subject expertise.
Particularly strong candidates may have one or more of the following:
SAT, ACT & Advanced Academics
- SAT score of 1500+
- Strong ACT performance
- Proven SAT or ACT teaching experience
- Measurable student score improvements
- Advanced mathematics, science, English, writing, or academic expertise
- Experience supporting academically ambitious or high-achieving students
Ivy League & Highly Selective Academic Experience
A significant plus is experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students who were later admitted to Ivy League universities or other highly selective undergraduate, graduate, or professional programs.
We value educators who understand the level of reasoning, writing, discipline, organization, and academic preparation expected of highly competitive students.
Neurodivergent Learning Experience
We strongly welcome tutors with experience supporting students with:
- Autism
- ADHD
- Executive functioning challenges
- Learning differences
- Processing differences
- Academic anxiety
- Gifted or twice-exceptional profiles
Strong tutors understand that effective teaching is not simply repeating an explanation. They know how to adjust pacing, communication, structure, accountability, and instructional approach to the individual learner.
Coding, AI & Software Expertise
We are actively interested in candidates with expertise in:

Professional industry experience is highly valued when paired with the ability to make complex concepts understandable.

The strongest Noor tutor can recognize the difference between a student who does not understand, a student who lacks confidence, a student who needs greater structure, and a student who simply has not yet been taught in the way they learn best.
You should be able to simplify without talking down to a student, challenge without intimidating, and hold students accountable without diminishing their confidence.
Above all, we expect tutors to take seriously the responsibility that comes with being trusted with another person's education.
Position Structure
- Part-time contract opportunity
- Approximately 5 to 35 hours per week may be available
- Hours vary based on tutor availability, subject expertise, student demand, and accepted assignments
- Tutors may accept assignments aligned with their availability and areas of expertise
- $25 to $45 per hour, depending on experience, credentials, specialization, assignment complexity, and demonstrated results
- Flexible scheduling
- Primarily in-person assignments throughout the Greater Orlando area
- Select virtual opportunities may also be available
- Potential for an increased caseload as Noor Tutoring Co. expands
Preferred Qualifications
One or more of the following is preferred:
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience
- Bachelor's degree, advanced degree, or strong current university standing
- Exceptional academic record
- SAT score of 1500+
- Strong ACT score
- Demonstrated SAT or ACT teaching success
- Experience with neurodivergent learners
- Experience with gifted or advanced students
- Experience supporting students admitted to highly selective universities
- Coding, AI, engineering, computer science, or software expertise
- Bilingual or multilingual fluency
- Strong parent and family communication skills
- Experience developing individualized learning strategies
