Guest Service Representative

We are looking to grow our amazing Marriott Front Desk Team!

Must have reliable transportation

Purpose of the Position:

To ensure guest satisfaction by providing efficient service and superior guest relations while increasing sales volume and profitability. To embrace the values of the Company Culture and Guiding Principles.

Essential Responsibilities:

Meets and exceeds Guest and team member expectations by providing exceptional service and team work by:

Providing value added service to Guests by doing whatever is reasonable and possible to meet or exceed Guest expectations
Communicating effectively with Guests, co-workers and Supervisors
Demonstrating teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed
Handling difficult situations effectively
To adhere to the spirit of hospitality by assisting of accommodating our Guests requests. Offer alternatives instead of saying “No”
Demonstrates professional and technical knowledge by:
Having a full understanding of the Property’s Management System
Knowing how and where to post all charges and cashier functions
Understanding the selling strategy and familiar with rate and market codes
Ensures Guests receive hospitable service at the front desk by:
Communicating clearly and courteously
Promptly and professionally checking Guests in/out of the Hotel
Receiving cash/credit transactions from Guests for payment of Hotel charges and making correct change
Maintains proper working environment between departments by:
Properly communicating with the Housekeeping and Engineering Department regarding Guest rooms and requests
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
