NOW HIRING. RAILCAR WELDER RAIL CARMAN. GREEN COVE SPRINGS FL

Are you a skilled welder looking for a hands-on rewarding career in the railroad industry. Join Star Railroad and help keep our nation's freight railcars running safely and efficiently.

POSITION OVERVIEW.
As a Railcar Welder Rail Carman you will play a key role in inspecting repairing and maintaining freight railcars. Your work will include welding fabricating and troubleshooting essential railcar components. If you have a strong welding background and a passion for precision we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
. Perform Stick welding to repair and fabricate freight railcar components
. Troubleshoot and replace brakes wheels couplers and air systems
. Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals
. Conduct inspections to assess damage and ensure FRA compliance
. Work safely and efficiently in both shop and outdoor environments

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
. Welding experience Stick and metal fabrication skills required
. Ability to read and follow technical manuals and blueprints
. Welding certification AWS CWB or equivalent preferred
. Physical ability to lift 50 plus lbs and work in all weather conditions
. Knowledge of FRA and safety regulations or willingness to learn
